Job Description
Role Overview:
The Mechelen DC Systems Support team member is responsible for several systems and applications (ERP, WMS, YMS, Pallet Management, etc.) during day shift at the Mechelen P&G Distribution Centre (DC) which features state-of-the-art systems including automated storage and retrieval systems, automatic conveyors for pallet transfers (including PLCs), automatic scanning, and automatic truck loading system. The role consists of supporting current and new systems (troubleshooting, upgrades, testing, hyper care), propose continuous improvement ideas as well as working on new projects to further automate and digitalize operations and meet current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Continuous Improvement
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as
+ enhancing systems KPIs (e.g. scanner read rates)
+ simplify processes linked to any application managed by systems team (WMS, YMS, Pallet Flow Manager, etc.)
+ recommend, drive and execute improvements of customized applications.
+ Improve customizable solutions.
+ Hardware, automation and digitalization
+ create and maintain digital reports and databases with the intent to simplify daily operations and contribute to loss elimination
+ identify and implement task automation
+ master critical systems to maximize their usage
+ Maintain, update and configure critical hardware used in operations (scanners, RDTs, computers, screens, etc.)
+ Operations support and capability building
+ Provide daily support to operations to root cause and troubleshoot systems issues in a timely manner
+ Derive capability opportunities to make operations self-sufficient
+ Train operations to increase capability

Job Qualifications
+ Core Skills
+ Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent
+ 0-5 years experience in IT – supply chain environment is a plus
+ Knowledge in SQL, Azure, servers and databases
+ Knowledge of MS Office suite, SAP, programming languages are a plus
+ Profile

+ Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
+ Capacity to work independently and setting priorities in line with business needs
