Job Summary: Reporting to the Associate Director of Quality Engineering for MECOE, the Quality Technician will assist is improving the quality signature at Columbus Engine Center. In this role, you will be responsible for Supplier Discrepancy Reports Focal and Foreign Object Detection Coordinator. In addition, this role will assist the Quality Engineers with Risk Based Process Reviews to include scheduling, execution, metrics, and corrective action follow-ups.

This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm

What You Will Do:

Act as Foreign Object Detection (FOD) Focal for the MECOE facility to reduce FOD occurrences and address systemic issuesSubmit and monitor all Supplier Discrepancy Reports (SDR) and Quality Notifications (QN) for MECOEWork with Supplier to resolved Quality Issues with incoming partsCreate schedule to perform process reviews and assist Quality Engineers in performing, documenting, and tracking corrections to resolution

Qualifications You Must Have: 

HS Diploma or GED2+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance repair and overhaulU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
