**Job Summary:**
Key Responsibilities:
**_Clinical:_**
+ _Provide primary care services to a diverse patient population from birth through adulthood._
+ _Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in both children and adults._
+ _Manage preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and wellness visits for all age groups._
+ _Work collaboratively with other physicians, specialists, nurses, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care._
+ _Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with all health regulations and standards._
+ _Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, health maintenance, and lifestyle changes._
+ _Participate in after-hours on-call duties as required._
+ _Assist in administrative/clinical quality improvement functions relating to a variety of programs at the direction of the medical director._
**_Teaching and Mentoring:_**
+ _Provide education to medical students during their ambulatory rotation._
+ _Assist in supervision of advanced practice providers at the clinic._

+ _Keep abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill._
+ _Attend and present at conferences, meetings and trainings in order to maintain certification and enhance professional skills; participate in faculty development activities._

**_Preferred Qualifications:_**
+ _Experience in a primary care, ambulatory setting._
+ _Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Epic._
+ _Experience or interest in education, research and faculty development._

Med-Peds Clinician Educator (Instructor-Associate Professor) - 36213 Faculty
The med-peds physician will provide comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients across a wide spectrum of health conditions, ensuring continuity of care from infancy through adulthood. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing a variety of medical issues, fostering long-term relationships with patients and families, and offering patient-centered care, with opportunities for precepting students. Faculty share responsibilities for night, weekend, and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice and will participate in decisions regarding the practice operation. This position will be housed at a Lone Tree Primary Care clinic operated by the Department of Family Medicine.The clinician-educator will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar. Clinician-educators are encouraged to collaborate with other faculty in clinical research projects.
