The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge in both medical-surgical care and renal nursing, providing expert care to patients with renal and other complex medical conditions. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: + Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the renal specialty unit. + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, with an emphasis on renal therapies. + Monitor and interpret renal function tests and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. + Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. + Educate patients and families about renal disease management, including dietary recommendations and lifestyle modifications. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. + Engage in continuous professional development activities to keep abreast of advances in renal nursing. #LI-AM5 Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING: 1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred. 4.
