Within the Chief Science Office department, we are seeking a dynamic and analytical Intelligence and Strategic Insights Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing actionable intelligence deliverables, building and monitoring potential targeted companies’ pipeline and identifying strategic opportunities and threats. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the EssilorLuxottica organization and network and demonstrate openness to a wide range of technologies and business fields. These include smart eyewear, augmented exams, sustainability, industrial processes, chemistry, and digital access to eyecare and eyewear. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders are essential for success in this role.

 

 

Responsabilities:

 

Provide intelligence deliverables Consolidate reports on markets and technology megatrends, structuring knowledge and proposing an analysis filter to make the information actionable Provide relevant insights on business or science weak signals within strategic areas of interest, adjacent to current businesses, anticipating future opportunities and threats to the business Identify opportunities or threats (technical, competitive or business), and write recommendations

 

Feed and monitor potential targeted companies' pipeline Conduct selective scouting of key players, startups and universities in the strategic fields of interest Contribute to companies' pipeline building and monitoring Report on companies’ pipeline content and evolution

 

Contribute to the companies’ assessment Exploration of potential synergies and value for EssilorLuxottica group of companies in the pipeline Building trustful relationship with targeted companies  

 

Candidate Profile :

 

Strong business and scientific acumen gained through relevant education and/or experience. Proven experience in market or technology intelligence, strategic analysis, or a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using intelligence and analysis tools.
