Do you thrive on developing creative opportunities to grow channel acquisitions? This new role is focused on the mass market growth of our core fundraising product - Child Sponsorship - across new and developing channels such as DRTV, VoD, Radio, Print, Digital and Out of Home. The role will take the lead with our integrated creative acquisition campaigns with the goal of sustainably increasing acquisitions.
You will contribute to the development of the overall acquisition strategy set out by the Head of Supporter Growth and ensure the media channels are optimised to meet organisational financial goals.
The postholder will also play an active role in the development and optimisation of the channel conversion journeys. The role will work closely with the dedicated digital team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of digital channel campaigns and robust reporting. They will have considerable knowledge of the media channel space in the UK, and be experienced in creative and media agency management.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and develop mass market media acquisition channels, including contributing to the definition of sort and long-term financial expectations, draw financial forecasts and plans and define performance metrics for new channels. Budget management of multi-channel integrated media campaigns. Develop and implement multi-channel integrated creative and media campaigns with selected agencies. Agency relationship, budget and contract management. Innovate and test and learn creative territories and propositions to optimise conversion. Build on existing acquisition audience profiles with a Child Sponsorship focus and maximise reach to those audiences Building on the success of DRTV/Radio partnerships, run additional pilots and scale partnerships Identify pain points in existing journeys for conversion, with continual test and learning to drive uplift in conversion across channels.
Who We’re Looking For:
Strategic thinker with a deep knowledge of mass market fundraising
Experienced Marketeer with track record of “Can do” approach to meeting gaols
Is driven to achieve targets
Proven experience in acquiring new regular giving donors
Worked in an innovation environment
Achieves pre-defined results and outcomes using ethical best practice methods
Ensures high level of quality, and due diligence across all aspects of campaign management

Salary: £42,750 per annum + good range of benefits
Contract: Permanent, 36.5 hours per week
Based: Hybrid Working – 2 days office based in Milton Keynes (UK-based applicants only)
