Purpose of the role:

As an Media Designer within our Global TD and Org Effectiveness function, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of learning within our organization. You will design and develop engaging and effective learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and contribute to a culture of continuous growth and development across our global workforce. You will be responsible for creating innovative learning solutions that align with our business objectives and foster a high-performing workforce. This role focuses on the design and development of learning materials, rather than the delivery of training itself.

 

Main Accountabilities:

Needs Analysis and Learning Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs, conduct thorough needs assessments, and define learning objectives. Develop comprehensive learning strategies that align with business goals and cater to a global audience. Media Design and Development: Design and develop engaging and effective learning experiences using a variety of modalities, including e-learning modules, workshops, videos, job aids, simulations, and blended learning programs. Leverage instructional design principles and best practices to create impactful learning solutions. Ensure all learning materials are scalable and adaptable for a global audience, accounting for language and cultural nuances.  Content Creation and Curation: Develop high-quality learning content that is clear, concise, and aligned with learning objectives. Curate existing learning resources and integrate them into cohesive learning journeys. Write effective assessments, quizzes, and exercises that measure learning outcomes. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and measure their impact on business outcomes. Analyze data, gather feedback, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Monitor and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in instructional design and e-learning. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Partner with HR business partners, department leaders, and key stakeholders across different geographies to understand their unique learning needs and challenges. Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively to develop targeted learning solutions. Project Management: Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Effectively prioritize tasks and communicate project updates to stakeholders. Maintain meticulous records of project documentation. Tools and Technologies: Utilize a variety of authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other technologies to create and deliver engaging learning experiences.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Media Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in Media design and development, preferably in a global or corporate setting. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, Media design theories, and learning technologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines. Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).

 

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience with agile development methodologies. Knowledge of different learning styles and cultural considerations for global audiences. Experience in developing learning solutions for a variety of delivery methods (e.g., online, blended, mobile). Graphic design and multimedia development skills.
