The role
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the Royal Navy Training Design Service. As the Media Developer you’ll support the Integrated Training Design Service to deliver learning that is blended, active and provides customer delight.
The ideal candidate has a background in 3D Modelling and Animation and is comfortable working within a standardised development environment, thinks creatively, is confident, excels in a collaborative team atmosphere, and is detail oriented. A professional attitude, ability to follow technical and workflow processes, and solid communication skills are essential.

The Media Developer will be able to:
Demonstrate a passion for training transformation and continuous improvement.To produce 3D models & media for RN training courses in accordance with the Media production processes Creation of animation sequences visualising and planning of complex concepts. Demonstrable experience in creating and developing media content within Autodesk 3D Studio Max and/or Blender and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of design tools. Demonstrate previous experience of Microsoft Office based software on a PC based system. Demonstrate previous experience in the delivery of eLearning Media projects. Demonstrate experience of creating media content and technology-based learning solutions.Demonstrate excellent IT skills with the ability to use in-house systems as well as a wide range of platforms including MS office and use of SharePoint.Demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn, collaborate, communicate, demonstrate best practice within the business, customers, and the wider team.Demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for quality, be able to plan, multitask, deliver on time and work independently.Adopt a flexible approach to the role and be able to adapt to evolving priorities.Navigate obstacles positively while effectively managing responsibilities.Demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn, collaborate, and demonstrate best practices within the business and customers.Desirable:
