About this opportunity:
We are looking for an Engineer with strong background in DevOps Solutions design and implementation (both on Public Cloud and on-premises infrastructure) together with good consultative skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.
Our DevOps team touches upon all services across the organization at various stages. This ranges from continuous deployments as per legacy systems or end to end ownership across much of our Public Cloud environment.
Main accountabilities:
• Gather requirements and assess technical options to meet those requirements
• Conduct technical presentations and workshops for the customer
• Collaborate with the Development Team to create tailored solutions for high-value customers
• Infrastructure and application deployment automation
• Security Audit & Hardening
• Cost Optimization
• Proof of Concept Creation
• Capacity Provisioning for new deployments
• Test, validate and integrate new technologies Product wise and Operational wise
• Automated monitoring and auto recovery mechanisms
• End to end platform ownership (infrastructure, automations, components, and services delivered)
• Continuous optimization in platform/technology/processes/costs
• 3rd LVL Support responsibility
• Create operational documentation
• Prepare architecture/documentation for custom onboardings.
Technical Skills
• Cloud Platforms and Architecture knowledge - AWS
• CI/CD technologies knowledge- Ansible ,Cloud Formation (or Terraform ) , GIT and Jenkins
• Linux System administration
• Bash/Python scripting skills
• Lambda or API knowledge and hands-on experience
• Prometheus (preffered) or Nagios
• Good understanding of networking protocols and ability to perform end to end troubleshooting
• Atlassian Jira/Confluence
• Grafana and Docker
• NGINX, Apache, HaProxy
• PostgreSQL, MongoDB or MySQL
Other Technologies: -- Are a plus / Nice to Have
o Widewine, Fairplay and Playready DRM
o ELK stack
o ECS
o Kubernetes
