Job Summary/Description:
KWCH/KSCW is currently looking to add a smart and self-motivated individual to our sales team in Wichita, KS. As the dominant media company in the area, we have comprehensive marketing tools – both on-air and online.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• You will research opportunities in the market, generate or follow through on sales leads both warm and cold, and manage an active pipeline of potential revenue.
• You will own the full sales cycle from prospect to close and meet new business revenue and budget goals.
• You will be an expert in marketing, and provide expert insights, recommendations, and consultancy to build productive and long-lasting relationships.
• You will maintain a consistent customer pipeline, build a consistent customer base, and forecast with accuracy monthly.
• Design, write, and present marketing presentations.
• Meet or exceed sales expectations, goals, and budgets, and manage your own book of sales revenue for retention and growth.
• Manage your book of business using multiple CRM and client management tools and software.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively internally across all WDAM departments and support staff.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• College degree, preferably in digital marketing or advertising or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of outside B2B sales experience
• Effective prospecting and proven revenue pipeline-building skills.
• Account management experience.
• Understanding of the digital environment including targeted display, social media, OTT, email marketing, SEO, and paid search preferred.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to think critically and design solutions for complex problems.
• Be teachable and open to best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.
• Be consistent at delivering results through perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.
