The University Libraries Studios Network consists of spaces that provide access to the tools and technologies used in creation processes for all library patrons. Reporting to the Manager, Studios Media & Lending Services, the Media Studios Technical Support Specialist position will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware and equipment owned by the University Libraries Studios Network. This role also supervises the Media Recording Studio and Studios Technology Lending Desk during weekends, and provides occasional support to other Studios Network spaces as needed.

All Studios Network positions entail interacting with all patrons of the studios, regardless of race, gender, or status, in a welcoming and friendly manner. Patrons will range from those with no experience with technology to those very familiar with the equipment and software that the Studios provide access to.
