No County Albany Street Address 800 North Pearl Street City Albany State NY Zip Code 12204 Duties Description This position will support the ITS Liaison & Technology Oversight function within the Bureau of Operations Management. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties: • Assist with all logistics of Staff Transaction activities (Onboarding, Offboarding, Promotions, Reassignments, Name Changes, Extended Leaves, etc.), including submission of Service Now Information Technology Service Management (Service Now ITSM) tickets on behalf of supervisors, day-one onboarding logistics and guidance, and creation of onboarding profiles. • Serve as an ITSM Business Approver for Agency staff ITSM Requested Items, conducting daily review and analysis of all ITSM tickets, trends, training opportunities or education gaps, etc. Serve as internal Point of Contact (POC) for ITSM ticket prioritization and escalation of breached incidents. • Assist in development of new training resources and promotion of ITS guidance and resources to improve the technology experience of the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) staff including managing content on the MigNet Technical Support page. • Assist with coordination of monthly remediation testing (Microsoft & Third-Party Software patches) with OMIG testers at direction of supervisor and in partnership with ITS. • In collaboration with ITS, assist with coordination of technical projects including Windows/OS updates, server/network upgrades, software upgrades, Device Refresh, etc. Serve as a tester for various ITS Change Management. • Liaise with other service bureaus (System Admin, Bureau of Business Intelligence, Human Resources, etc.) on technical solutions and/or training mechanisms. • Other duties as assigned.
