Topcon Healthcare is looking to offer an internship program from June 2, 2025, until August 14, 2025.  This is a paid program located in the Oakland NJ office & our San Diego Office.  The hours for this program are Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm. Come join the Topcon Healthcare team to help build real-world skills and knowledge to influence your education and career path.  

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Medical Affairs and Education team as a Medical Affairs Intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various aspects of medical strategy and medical writing while working closely with our experienced associates. We are committed to providing real work opportunities for intern candidates through hands-on experience and a variety of projects. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Organize research requests and standardize operational overview and tracking.

Summarize articles from peer review publications and congresses.

Participate in creation of protocols and data analyses.

Assist in creation of multimedia assets for training and healthcare partners.

Facilitate in review of customer facing tools.

May be asked to assist in data acquisition or cleaning (Maestro, Triton, NW500, NW400, TRK-3, Tempo)

Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Stay current on different disease states, scientific literature, and market.

 

Qualifications:

Pursing a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Writer, Operations for Medical Affairs role in the future

Efficient self-starter, with the ability to work independently on tasks as well as work well as part of a team.

Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills

Strong in Microsoft Suite

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Project management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Expertise with Microsoft and more

Base Pay:

Expected Base Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly based on degree level.

The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed.  Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
