YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide medical expertise in cardiology and nephrology while offering insights on commercial issues through participation in cross-functional mission teams and task forcesYou will support the creation, coordination, and implementation of the strategic Medical Affairs (MA) Plan as part of the Integrated Brand Plan (IBP)You will plan and conduct Scientific Advisory Boards with Thought Leaders (TLs) and external customers, representing Bayer’s perspective on products to stakeholders such as TLs, scientific advisors, and health authoritiesYou will provide Medical Affairs input to global clinical development programs and oversee the medical strategy and review for Global Phase IV studies, Investigator-Initiated Research (IIR), and Real-World Evidence (RWE) analysesYou will guide the development and medical review of promotional material for global use, such as product monographs, brochures, press releases, Q&As, and field communicationsYou will contribute to the scientific publication process, TL development programs, and global medical congress activitiesYou will develop or contribute to the creation of medical and scientific communication material, as well as global training programs (e.g., speaker training, MSL training), and support their implementation within regional MA functionsYou will provide Medical Affairs input for core labeling and pharmacovigilance documents related to marketed products, such as risk management plans and risk-benefit assessments

You hold a university degree in Medicine (MD or equivalent, PhD preferred) with strong expertise in cardiometabolic diseaseYou have at least five years of experience in clinical development and/or Medical Affairs in a global healthcare organization, academic environment, or pharmaceutical industryYou demonstrate expertise in cross-functional team participation and building effective relationships across functionsYou possess a global mindset with deep understanding of global regulations and clinical guidelinesYou have experience managing risk and compliance issues effectivelyYou have a proven track record of successful project management, including organizing scientific symposia, preparing and leading advisory boards, and collaborating with healthcare organizationsYou are adept at functioning and communicating in complex global and multicultural environments, showing sensitivity to cross-cultural differencesYou are willing to travel extensively for work, both domestically and internationally, including weekendsYou are a highly effective communicator with strong influencing, writing, and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required
