Role Summary:

Together with regional sales and product management colleagues, this role will position Ethicon as a leading solution in thoracic surgery.

With your enthusiasm for medical innovations, you can actively contribute to improving treatment outcomes and promoting recovery.

Key Responsibilities:KOL Management: Professional support and consulting for existing customers and acquiring new customers.Building and utilizing a strong network with key customers, opinion leaders, and thoracic centers.Marketing and positioning of innovations with selected customers, focusing on advancements in patient safety and cost-effectiveness.Evidence-Based Selling: Health economic benefit arguments based on clinical studies and models.Taking sales responsibility, including revenue and profit planning as well as implementation for the thoracic area.Developing and implementing the strategy in thoracic surgery and driving growth.Strategic development and successful expansion of market position through analysis of customer potential, market shares, revenues, etc.Identifying customer needs and trends and designing sales concepts based on field interactions and results.Implementing and further developing the local marketing strategy into sales activities while strengthening Ethicon’s position.Independently recognizing open potential, setting up projects, scheduling appointments, and conducting product testing.Defining action plans and jointly implementing them with the sales and marketing team and cooperating business areas.Building and leading a national thoracic sales team.Establishing an effective and highly motivated team and creating a strong team culture with a high level of engagement; ensuring personal development and a broad skill set of the team through coaching and targeted training.Creating a culture aligned with the credo that ensures HCC principles and integrity principles are represented and actively lived.Accelerating processes and internal workflows at the interface between marketing and sales to enable smooth strategy implementation.Leading the development and management of customer relationships, especially with the sales team and the Center Development Team.

University Degree in MedicineExperience as a SurgeonExperience in medical device or pharmaceuticalsector, preferably in building and leading teams.Familiarity with clinical study resultsGood knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Independent, responsible, results-oriented, performance-driven, and pragmatic working and acting.Ability to work simultaneously on complex short-, medium-, and long-term projects and prioritize independently in this context.Capability to closely cooperate with colleagues to achieve goals.Creative and entrepreneurial thinking, courage, assertiveness, a “can do” mentality, and enjoyment of new topics and tasks.Solid understanding of industry best practices and the ability to implement policies that enhance operational efficiency.Commitment to upholding Johnson Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives, promoting ethical practices and a collaborative work environment.
