Responsibilities:

Coordinate schedules and manage patient flow to ensure efficient operation of clinical activities. Escort patients to exam and procedure rooms, providing assistance with mobility, dressing, and preparation as necessary. Gather and record patient information and medical history, conduct vital sign measurements, and perform screenings according to provider guidelines. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations when handling and transmitting patient medical records. Prepare patient rooms, arrange instruments, and sanitize equipment between patient visits to uphold infection control standards. Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies, ensuring exam and procedure rooms are adequately stocked. Adhere to regulatory requirements from agencies such as OSHA, CLIA, and state health departments, ensuring compliance in all operations. Assist physicians during procedures, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic lab tests, and accurately document patient data in medical records.
