the supervision of a Registered Nurse andor Physician the Medical Assistant performs delegated functions as a member of the patient care team to provide a variety of multi skilled services These activities contribute to meeting the health care safety and comfort needs of patients and are performed in accordance with all existing regulatory state and company standards policies and proceduresResponsible for full range of administrative support in a medical office setting providing duties from scheduling appointments calling pharmacies billing patients and verifying pre certifications to triaging phone calls from patients physicians and insurance companies while maintaining patient and business confidentiality to ensure that the needs of the internal and external
