Position Overview

Directly responsible for administrative and non-administrative functions in delivering care to patients during the rooming process.

Essential Functions

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers through prompt response and courteous communication

Communicates effectively with all levels - patients, co-workers, supervisors and physicians, both verbally and in writing using the AIDET frameworkAssist and coordinate patient/clinic flow.Responsible for rooming patients, taking Height and Weight, ordering x-raysPulls reports/films for test appointmentsEnters and verifies PFSH/HIA in the electronic health recordFacilitate patient’s care by completing all entry of patient information into the chart by the end of the dayCoordinates with other departments or physician offices.

Requirements  Bachelor Degree in related fieldHigh School Diploma or GED Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred not required) 2 years of MA experience in lieu of MA cert.Knowledge of EHR system.
