As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and service to patients. Your responsibilities will include taking vitals, rooming patients, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will greet and chaperone patients during their visit, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience.
ResponsibilitiesTake and record patient vitals accurately.Room patients efficiently and ensure they are comfortable.Provide excellent customer service to patients.Greet and chaperone patients throughout their visit.Maintain electronic health records with precision.Support patient care and education.Essential SkillsProficiency in medical assisting and phlebotomy.Knowledge of electronic health records and medical terminology.Experience in healthcare settings, particularly pediatrics.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Ability to measure and interpret blood pressure readings.Familiarity with internal medicine practices.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-3 years of experience in a similar role.Strong understanding of patient care and medical records management.Work Environment
The work environment is collaborative, team-focused, and family-oriented, promoting great patient care and outcomes. The clinic is located offsite from the Casino and features an onsite lab. Medical Assistants are assigned to a specific MD and participate in both virtual and in-person visits. Patient demographics span all ages, including pediatrics, with visits scheduled in 20-minute intervals, accommodating up to 24 patients daily. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
