Position Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for preparing patients for examination, assisting the healthcare provider with medical procedures, and providing reception and clerical support, including medical record maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program.BLS from the American Heart Association.Ability to effectively interview patients and obtain comprehensive and accurate information. Triage incoming telephone calls appropriately. Display tact, discretion and confidentiality when dealing with physicians, patients and family members. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques and basic medical office practices and procedures. Demonstrates appropriate telephone etiquette, alphabetical and numeric filing, various billing processes and effective customer service principles. Overview
