Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, is looking to hire a Medical Assistant.

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
 

Education:

High School Diploma

Certification:

Must acquire one of the following certifications within nine (9) months of hire:

Registered Medical Assistant,Certified Medical Assistant,Clinical Certified Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Basic.BLS within 90 days of hired

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.92 - $25.38. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
