Monitors, tests, and records transmission results from trans telephonic, cardio voice, and rhythm strips for cardiac device patients under the supervision of an electrophysiology provider. Conducts device education to broad based population. Troubleshoots abnormal test results and elevates to the appropriate provider/physician. Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required. Certified Rhythm Analyses Technician (CRAT) required or within 1 year of hire. 3 years Cardiology experience preferred, 1 year Electrophysiology preferred, 3 years experience as an EMT, Paramedic, CVT graduate, and/or Corpsman preferred.
