The Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for more than 40-years providing treatment through structured programs guiding our clients through detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment and family education for both men and women. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Charlotte Hall offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for our clients to help develop the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Hourly Rate: $16/hour - $18/hour

Shift:  M-F 8AM-4PM Every other Saturday.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job:

Maintains therapeutic relationships with all clients and effectively communicates changes in client status or milieu to appropriate member of the treatment team. Receives direction and reports directly to the Nursing staff. Obtains vital signs and urine specimens as directed by the Nurse. Conduct all functions of the toxicology screening process including entering data into the lab system, collecting observed urine specimens, preparing specimens for transport to the lab, printing and reviewing toxicology reports, communicating results to the Nurse, Physician, and clinical staff. Faxing documentation to the pharmacy vendor. Observe and dispenses medications. Coordination of admission paperwork with nursing team. Conduct follow-up calls for clients who have missed appointments for their medication assisted treatment. Other duties as assigned

Licensure, Education, & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Active certification as a Certified Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant by employment or successful internship preferred.
