Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you'll greet clients, obtain laboratory specimens, enter orders, collaborate with nurses and physicians, educate stakeholders on TMS, and handle administrative tasks. The ideal applicant demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office, exhibits familiarity with medical devices, and shows capacity to absorb crisis management techniques targeting mentally ill populations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform phlebotomy, collect oral swabs, and procure urine samples under supervision, observing strict protocols.
• Facilitate supply distribution to requesting providers and transmit results accordingly.
• Input lab requisitions digitally.
• Notify nursing staff and practitioners of critical findings immediately.
• Record all pertinent details meticulously and in alignment with operational guidelines.
• Support nursing professionals with reception tasks, monitoring clients, securing approvals, and measuring vitals.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
• Medical Assistant Certificate
• One year of experience in a healthcare context, preferably involving behavioral health.

Additional Qualifications:
• Microsoft Office fluency
• Background handling medical devices
• Capacity to adopt crisis control tactics for servicing chronically mentally ill clients
• Commitment to earning Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) credentials within 60 days of joining and keeping up with recurrent mandates
