We are looking for a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant with over 2 years of general oncology experience to join our fast-paced breast oncology team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, perform administrative duties, and assist in maintaining an efficient clinical environment. You will be responsible for rooming patients, recording vital signs, obtaining blood specimens, and managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to quickly adapt to the needs of the doctor.

ResponsibilitiesCheck in, check out and room patients. Record patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.Obtain blood specimens.Answer phone calls for referrals.Schedule patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions.Schedule follow-up appointments for test results.Perform administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, and reception.Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.Experience in oncology, obgyn or women's health. A completed national Medical Assistant certification. Work EnvironmentMonday to Friday first shift schedule with no weekends.Will be working on a large team that includes a medical assistant lead, 4 doctors, and 2 nurse practitioners. The consultant will be working with 1 doctor and will be the only MA working with that doctor. The Doctor will expect the medical assistant to be able to hit the ground running as soon as they're out of training.
