Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our primary care office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with providers and build long-term relationships with patients by seeing them regularly. ResponsibilitiesPerform patient intakes and room loadingConduct vital checks and manual blood pressure measurementsRoom patients and assist with their needsUpdate inboxes for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemScan and upload documents into EMRRestock rooms and supply closets and complete inventory checksTriage phone calls for physicians and patientsUpdate patient records in the EMR system (preferably Athena)Provide excellent customer service and bedside careEssential Skills1-2 years of experience in Medical AssistingProficiency with Electronic Medical Records (preferably Athena or Epic)Experience with manual blood pressure measurementHigh school diploma or GEDStrong customer service and bedside skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsCertified Medical Assistant (preferred but not required)Shift flexibilityWork Environment

The position requires working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the need to work one Saturday a month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. If a Saturday is worked, you will receive four hours back during the week. The Medical Assistant will typically work with the same provider in an office that has four providers. Each provider sees between 15-30 patients a day, ensuring a manageable workload and the ability to establish meaningful connections with patients. The ratio of Medical Assistants to providers is 1:1, allowing for focused and personalized care.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
