Medical Assistant
Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description The medical assistant will perform clinical duties in a clinic setting under the supervision of a physician. Duties are mainly back office (vitals, assisting providers), but occasional assistance up front may be required. The medical assistant will also be responsible for restocking materials as necessary and cleaning rooms after patients. Responsibilities + Perform clinical duties under the supervision of a physician. + Measure and record patient vitals. + Assist providers with patient care. + Restock medical supplies and materials as necessary. + Clean and prepare examination rooms after patient visits. + Occasionally assist with front office duties. Essential Skills + 1-4 years of experience as a medical assistant. + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). + Experience in cardiology. + Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system. + Strong customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Certification in medical assisting. + Experience with triage and patient assessment. Work Environment Fast-paced cardiology office. The office sees 80-120 patients per day, with responsibilities shared among five Medical Assistants. The team has a strong culture and recently implemented a new career progression program for Medical Assistants to gradually advance in their careers. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
