Medical Assistant in Ambulatory Surgery at our Mission Surgery Center in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 8-hour Day Shift. 

Under direct supervision of a registered nurse, provides care for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.  Performs a variety of patient care activities such as assisting with hygiene care and patient transport.  Consistently demonstrates behaviors that model the SJHS core values and the surgery center's mission statement.

Required qualifications:

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Experience in related position in an acute care facility

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant from a qualified institution. National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire. 6 months Experience in a medical facility.
