BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our outstanding and compassionate team in Hernando.

Location: Behavioral Health Hernando

Status: Part Time, Exempt: No

ShiftHours:10AM-3PM

Shift: Shift 1

Shift 1= Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities: 

The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible to provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs, records and documents vital signs, patient weight and height. Performs non-intravenous injections.  Assists with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals. Obtains information required for meaningful use. Conducts face to face visits, handles medical service-related telephone calls.  Monitors and maintains inventory and equipment. Travel required to various program sites.  Performs other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

* HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
* Technical Program Completion or Degree
* Required - CMA (Medical Assistant); And - BLS (Basic Life Support); And - Driver's License - State of Florida
