BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Certified Medical Assistant** to join our outstanding and compassionate team in **Winter Haven!** + **Facility:** BayCare Behavioral Health + **Location:** Winter Haven + **Status:** Full-Time, Exempt: No + **Shift Hours:** 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM + **Weekend Work:** None + **On Call:** No **The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for:** + Provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs. + Recording and documenting vital signs, patient weight and height. + Performing non-intravenous injections. + Assisting with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals. + Obtaining information required for meaningful use. + Conducting face to face visits, handles medical service related telephone calls. + Monitoring and maintains inventory and equipment. Travel required to various program sites. Performs other duties as assigned.
