Medical Assistant – Full-Time/Dermatology – Tampa, FL

The Dermatology department is seeking a full- time Medical Assistant for their office in Northdale (3820 Northdale Boulevard). Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:50 AM - 5:00 PM. The role is responsible for assisting providers and manages clinical functions in the department. Candidates with experience in a medical office highly preferred, especially in Dermatology. but willing to train if we get the right person for our team.

THE KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

Love of patients and providing excellent care Confidential handling of patient’s accounts and records Entering data into Electronic Health Records Preparing patients for examination and/or procedures Adherence to company policies HIPAA and OSHA Compliance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1 year experience as an MA desired Dermatology experience is a plus High school graduate or GED certificate Excellent communication skills including verbal/written, in person and on the phone Able to give injections Ability to travel to other FMC locations as business needs necessitate
