What's in it for you?Join an amazing close-knit team at a federally qualified health center.Open to working with entry-level candidates to help train in the medical field.They promote from within, so ton of opportunity for growth.They will give an increase in pay after their promotion period.They continue to serve the community as a leader in providing affordable healthcare in Santa Barbara.RequiredMUST have a CPT CertificationKnowledge of medical terminology.(Preferred) to be bilingual in Spanish.Job DescriptionMonday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.Fast Paced Clinic working with all agesRecord patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients.Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures.Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.

Work Environment

Working onsite at the clinic in a fast-paced environment, handling 20-40 patients daily depending on the site. Team collaboration is essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
