What you'll do:

Rooming patientsChecking vitalsAssisting with proceduresClinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocolsPredominantly back-office responsibilities but is expected to help with front-office duties on an as-needed basisMaintains a clean, organized, and safe environmentOrganizes and performs patient care services that support the provider's practiceRelaying instructions from the provider to the patient or authorized personCollecting patient data in person and by phoneDocumenting patient concerns, messages and care provided in the electronic medical record for the physician's reviewAdministering medications specifically directed by the providerScheduling of appointments and proceduresComplete and accurate message takingRouting messages to the appropriate area for directionOrder and referral entryAcquisition of pre-certificationsSetting up of cases in EPICBasic registration and updating of demographicsOther duties assigned as needed

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsmanBLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications:

1 years of experience working as Medical AssistantPrimary Care experience

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsmanBLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications:
