Responsibilities for this opportunity include, but are not limited to: JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: * 1 Years of experience as a Medical Assistant in outpaitnet; prefer two years in Orthopedics setting * CPR/BLS through the AHA * Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, MMCI). * Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture * Experience with the following OBGYN procedures required: PAP, Coplo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions, and removals, Nexplanon, and NST. * Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans * Experience with would care and cast care * Experience with high volume - multiline - call handling, or call center.
