**Job Description** Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. Straub's board-certified occupational medicine physician and staff provide post-offer physicals, executive health examinations, work capacity evaluations, toxicology evaluations, accident prevention programs, work site evaluations, respiration physicals and permanent partial disability ratings. As the Medical Assistant, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families through our Occupational Health department. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card. Must Be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period. **Preferred Experience:** Six (6) months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology (CPT) and/or International Classification of Disease (ICD-10) coding. Experience with electronic medical records.
