We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We see a verity of work-related injuries, provide surveillance testing and employment physical to ensure the health of employees across the nation. 
 

Some duties could include:

 

      Assist in patient assessments and intake procedures.  Appropriately documents information obtained.

      Perform clinical tasks including blood draws, injections, PFT and audiometric testing.

      Become certified to perform DOT drug screen and breath alcohol testing.

      Administers vaccinations and TB skin test.

      Engages and helps promote patient education as appropriate

      Assist with administrative task including scheduling appointments, reporting out results.
 

What’s Required:

 

CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferredCredentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

 

NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferredOne year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
