Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our St Joseph's Outpatient Center team!
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the delivery of outpatient clinic health careAnswer phones, returning phone calls, crisis triagePaperwork processing for schools, human services, etc.Prior authorizations of medicationsRooming patientsMaintaining clinical records and documentationExperience/Qualification/Licensure:
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program or five years’ equivalence in medical assistant experience. Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration REQUIRED or obtained within 6 months of hireCurrent CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire – REQUIRED
Hours: Full Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift
