ATTRIBUTES

One (1) to two (2) years of medical experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceCritical care experience preferredBilingual preferredStrong customer service, computer and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care & Physician Assistance. Promote and restore patients' health; assist physicians with procedures; manage physician orders and complete appropriate forms/requests; report issues to a licensed staff member when necessary; account for all components of the admission processMaintenance. Ensure patient is adequately taken care of in a timely manner and treatment rooms are stocked as needed; assemble and maintain patient chartsCompliance & Documentation. Adhere to required department and system protocols, regulations (local, state, federal) and education requirements; maintain knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

EDUCATION:

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: 

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
