Job Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will perform appropriate patient intake to determine medical history, chief complaint, and risk factors. You will develop and implement injury and illness prevention strategies for athletes and the physically active. Additionally, you will maintain clinic flow by directing support staff to ensure patient/parent satisfaction, patient safety, quality of care, and efficiency of clinic operations.

You will be working in the Sports Medicine Department within the main hospital. Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed, including Oakbrooke Health Center in Chesapeake, VA, Tech Center Urgent Care at 680 Oyster Point Road in Newport News, VA, and other locations in Virginia Beach, VA. The work shift is from 8 AM to 5 PM.
