Medical Assistant Trainee - Primary Care 160 Heritage

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with patient examinations and proceduresPrepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and medical historiesAdminister medications and treatments as directedCollect and prepare laboratory specimensMaintain accurate and timely medical recordsCoordinate patient appointments and referralsProvide excellent patient care and support

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certificationExperience in a clinical setting, preferably in neurology or a related fieldStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team  Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
