The Hospital is located in sunny Laredo, Texas, just 150 miles south of historic San Antonio. Read a full position description below.** Position's Purpose and Essential Functions: Responsible for assisting provider with patient care and performing front duties as designated by provider and/or Office Manager. Responsible for making patient appointments and communicating information to patient and family. Assists with phlebotomy, special collections, EKG's and other duties assigned by director. Ensures the LMC values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operations. The Medical Asst Tech reports to the Director/Office manager, or charge nurse in the unit. Work direction related to patient care may come from the physician as well.
