Description Are you a detail-oriented professional with a talent for navigating the complexities of healthcare billing? Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Medical Biller for a reputable healthcare organization in Minnesota. As a vital member of the team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in patient billing and revenue cycle operations. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare, review, and submit accurate claims to insurance companies for reimbursement. + Analyze and post payments and adjustments to patient accounts in compliance with industry standards. + Perform follow-ups on outstanding claims, resolving disputes or denials in collaboration with payers. + Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility before claim submission. + Identify and address billing errors while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. + Communicate billing information clearly with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Requirements What We’re Looking For: + Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar healthcare billing role. + Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, with preference for experience in Epic or Cerner + Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines, claim submission processes, and reimbursement regulations. + Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding and medical terminology. + Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities. + Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to resolving billing inquiries.
