Description Robert Half has an opening for a Medical Billing/Claims/Collections Specialist with our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role is within the healthcare industry and involves the use of various software systems, including Accounting Software Systems, Allscripts, and Cerner Technologies. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Process medical billing, claims, and collections accurately and efficiently • Use Accounting Software Systems to maintain precise financial records • Utilize Cerner Technologies and EHR SYSTEM in managing patient health information • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) to ensure prompt and accurate payment • Handle appeals and authorizations related to medical billing and claims • Carry out benefit and billing functions as required • Address denials and resolve any issues related to medical billing and claims • Implement Epic Software for effective management of healthcare data • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Familiarity with Cerner Technologies is a must • Experience with EHR SYSTEM is expected • Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively • Experience in handling Appeals is necessary • Knowledge of Authorizations procedures is essential • Understanding of Benefit Functions is required • Mastery of Billing Functions is expected • Proven experience in managing Denials is necessary • Proficiency in Epic Software is a significant advantage • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel is required Robert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
