Temporary position$18.00 to $19.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:30pm)Greet and provide assistance, guidance and direction to visitors and clients.Maintain a positive “customer-service” approach at all times.Complete insurance verification.Research outstanding accounts receivable.Clearly document issues and resolution.Communicate with third-party representatives as necessary to complete claims processing and /or resolve problem claims.Maintains confidentiality: adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.Exhibit exceptional customer service skills; answering patient and insurance calls; prompt return and follow up to all interactions; prompt response to requests for information.Medical Billing Specialist Qualifications:
Strong understanding of physiology, medical terms and anatomyStrong knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures. Associate’s degree or higher and/or two years of equivalent experienceMinimum of 1 year experience in medical billing or any coding industryMust be able to withstand considerable sitting while performing the duties of the job.Must be able to frequently use hands to utilize office equipmentApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
