Position SummaryPerforms clerical support for the Medical Claims Department. This includes ordering and maintaining supplies and ensuring supply room is properly stocked and organized. Other miscellaneous functions as requested by supervisor.This is a fully on-site position based in Milwaukie, Oregon.Pay Range$17.00 - $19.42 hourly*Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 6-12 months office experience.
+ Typing ability of 30 wpm net.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to work well under pressure, work with frequent interruptions, and shifting priorities.
+ Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
+ Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
Primary Functions:
+ Sort and distribute incoming and interoffice mail.
+ Print and mail assigned outgoing letters to members and providers.
+ Receive and send facsimile submissions and distribute accordingly.
+ Update tracking spreadsheet as needed.
+ Work assigned Content Manager Image Queues and Work Baskets.
+ Responsible for ordering, maintaining supplies and ensuring supply room is properly stocked and organized.
+ Provide daily inventory counts as needed.
+ Scan and index incoming mail at the printer or compile documents to send to Imaging.
+ Provide assistance to department as needed for special projects.
+ Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions & Contact with Others:
+ Inside the company with own claims department staff, Imaging Department, Facilities, and other as required.
+ Office environment with extensive close PC and keyboard work, constant sitting, and phone work. Must be able to navigate multiple screens.
