Medical Components Manufacturing Operator

As a Medical Components Manufacturing Operator I, you will be responsible for performing multiple processes relating to the manufacturing of technical ceramic components used in medical devices. You will work within a team environment to meet departmental goals.

Available Shifts:

Weekday Days 4x10 (Monday - Thursday, 5am - 330pm)Weekday Swing 4x10 (Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 1:30am)Weekend Days 3x12 (Friday - Sunday, 5am - 5pm)Weekend Nights 3x12 (Friday - Sunday, 5pm - 5am)

Roles & Responsibilities:​

Operate multiple, complex, production equipment and/or a variety of production equipment to manufacture parts in compliance with work order instructions.Make machine adjustments and contact appropriate person when needed​.Inspect parts to determine if product meets quality specifications and take appropriate action concerning parts that are not to quality standards.Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements.Transfer parts to next step of manufacturing process via computer software​.Load, unload, stack, and/or transport product via hand-truck, forklift, crane, hoist​ or other appropriate method.Maintain clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment​.Train incoming operators on operating processes and procedures.​Wear required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory.

Job Requirements:​

Education:​

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary​.

Experience:​

1 year of applicable manufacturing experience​.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:​

Understand and act on verbal and/or written instructions​.Read/interpret standard and metric measurements​.Intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)​.Deep knowledge of handheld measuring equipment: micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, and advanced measuring equipment such as SmartScope or CMM.​Use GD&T(Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to read and understand the relationship between complex blueprints and parts​.Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple technology platforms.Demonstrates resilience and a willingness to learn from experience, adapts to meet the needs of the changing environment.Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening and communication skills​.

Target Hiring Range

Hourly: 19.23 - 22.13
