You have a permanent full-time position (32-35hrs/week). You are the master of keeping our tools clean and sterile.You receive, sort, disassemble, decontaminate, clean, assemble, wrap, sterilize, and store instruments.You keep accurate records of sterile items.You make sure to rotate stock (FIFO) and reprocess outdated supplies.You are patient and can stand for long periods of time, while doing repetitive movements and remaining focused on tasks.You adhere to sterilization standards and ensure that they are met on a regular basis. A clear view of your assets Required: You possess a recognized Sterile Processing / Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certificate (MDRT) and a current Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certificate.You are meticulous, precise, rigorous, patient and focused, no detail can escape you.You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.Your experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français également (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients). Schedule: You are available to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 am until the end of the surgery schedule (flexibility required for occasional Saturdays).Address: 890 Main St, Suite 100, Moncton, NB E1C 1G4 (current location) & 30 Englehart St, Dieppe, NB E1A 8H3 (future location).
