Your tasks at a glance

You are the master of keeping our tools clean and sterile.You receive, sort, disassemble, decontaminate, clean, assemble, wrap, sterilize, and store instruments.You keep accurate records of sterile items.You make sure to rotate stock (FIFO) and reprocess outdated supplies.You are patient and can stand for long periods of time, while doing repetitive movements and remaining focused on tasks.You adhere to sterilization standards and ensure that they are met on a regular basis. You will be cross-trained as a Surgical Assistant (once you have completed your initial training).

 A clear view of your assets     

Required: You possess a recognized Sterile Processing / Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certificate (MDRT) and a current Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certificate.You are meticulous, precise, rigorous, and focused, no detail can escape you.You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.Your experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, as well as Saturdays on a rotating basis.
