Evergreen is seeking a Medical Director of Primary & Specialty Care. The Medical Director of Primary & Specialty Care will be responsible for departmental clinical leadership and oversight of providers to ensure high-quality patient care, fiscal viability, and employee and patient satisfaction. This role will serve as a liaison between providers and administration leadership and will collaborate to optimize communication, efficiency, and effectiveness of services provided within P rimary & Specialty Care. The role will be split approximately 80/20, with 80% of your time focused on leadership and administrative duties, while spending 20% of your time providing clinical care- practicing medicine and connecting with patients. The role will have a Monday to Friday schedule, with no weekend hours. Qualified Candidate will be a licensed physician registered with the New York State Education Department and board-certified in a medical specialty; will have five (5) years of experience in an active medical practice with proven administrative/supervisory responsibilities; will have familiarity with computers, EMR software (Medent), and MS Office software (Outlook, Word); will be a problem-solver with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately. The qualified candidate will demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to the issues that face underserved populations, people living with HIV, and people who use drugs, including health disparities that affect people of color at a disproportionate rate. Job Type: Full-time Required License/Certifications: Licensed physician registered with the New York State Education Department; Board certified in a medical specialty. Additional required certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required experience: Five (5) years of experience in an active medical practice with proven administrative/supervisory responsibilities.
