Medical Doctor to work in Global Medical Affairs Diabetes & CKD

   

Are you a Medical Doctor with clinical, research and pharma experience motivated to take an opportunity to help shape the medical narrative for diabetes projects in a fast-paced high complexity environment? Do you have a collaborative mindset and strong collaboration skills? Then you might be our new colleague to join the Semaglutide & CKD team in Global Medical Affairs Diabetes.

 

The Position
Your tasks involve collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including development, commercial and the broader medical affairs organizations as well as Key Opinion Leaders. You will be working with a broad range of medical affairs related tasks, primarily focused on clinical data interpretation, presentation and communication.

In this position, you will:

•    Lead some of our key CKD-related activities

•    Be part of our medical response team

•    Drive internal and external educational tactics and publications

•   Collaborate with the scientific community and Key Opinion Leaders related to key project with the end-goal to benefit the people we serve and their health care providers.

 

The position will be based in Søborg, but some travel can also be expected 20% (maximum) of the time per year.

 

Qualifications
As the successful candidate, we expect you to have the following skills:
•    You are a Medical Doctor with clinical experience treating patients
•    Extensive research experience and strong scientific understanding
•    Minimum 3 years of pharma experience
•    A PhD is an advantage
•    Experience in CKD in nephrology is an advantage
•    Strong experience with complex stakeholder landscape.

 

You are a strong communicator, fluent in spoken and written English and you have strong personal leadership and inter-personal skills. You are a proactive and enthusiastic team player, eager to learn and enjoy working in a diverse environment. You are good at handling complexity and uncertainty, well-organized and you thrive in an environment requiring a variety of your skill sets at the same time. You have a strategic mindset and a track record of delivering high-quality results, and you are quick to adapt in a changing environment.

 

About the Department
As part of Global Medical Affairs Diabetes, Semaglutide Diabetes & CKD is the team responsible for driving medical activities and establishing the medical narrative across several GLP-1 projects in diabetes. The department is focused on providing strategic medical input to the broader organization through in-depth clinical and medical perspective from internal resources and out-side-in knowledge from Key Opinion Leaders in diabetes. There is high focus on utilizing medical knowledge and communication skills to drive impactful projects disseminating scientific and clinical knowledge internally and externally with the end goal of optimizing clinical decision making and guiding projects in the benefit of people living with diabetes.
